EC104 - Montessori Early Childhood Social Studies

Social Studies: This course introduces the student to philosophy and rationale of geography, land & waters forms, globes, maps, flags and multi-cultural awareness in the Montessori early childhood classroom . History: time, calendar, seasons and personal history. Art: This course will introduce the student to developmentally appropriate art practices with preschool children. Philosophy & rationale, basic skills, 2 & 3 dimensional work, easel or table, art appreciation & art history.
